G. Robert Der is a Hungarian author, songwriter, composer, and explorer of the human soul.
He originally set out to become a mathematician, but life led him along a different path—through music, theology, education, pastoral counselling, and years of mission service in prisons and hospitals. For 28 years, his work has kept him close to people: young people, adults, and families navigating questions of identity, relationships, loss, faith, personal growth, and the turning points of life. For more than two decades, this human-centred work has also continued through his career in the financial sector, where behind every decision are deeply personal stories—families, hopes, losses, new beginnings, and dreams for the future.
Across every chapter of his life, one question remained constant:
Writing, composing, and storytelling have always been present in his life. After years of quiet maturation, these creative roots returned to the forefront. Today, he creates narrative worlds where memory, love, identity, loss, hope, and the mysteries of human existence intertwine.

ECHONIA – The Cradle Between Two Worlds (Book I) is his debut novel, the opening volume of the ECHONIA Trilogy and the beginning of a larger literary universe: ECHONIA WORLD, where spirituality, emotion, music, philosophy, and imagination meet.
The universe will expand through the ECHONIA, ECHOMI, and ECHORA Trilogies—three interconnected journeys exploring story, understanding, and origin from different perspectives.
